Rétro Festival

The 2025 edition, the sixth, opened on Thursday, June 26, with a guided tour of the historic center of Terracina at 6:00 PM, followed at 7:30 PM by the opening party at the Rive di Traiano Beach Club. From Friday, the seaside pine forest hosted the heart of the festival: five-level Lindy Hop and two-level solo jazz workshops with international instructors, a 300-square-meter dance floor, open taster classes, jam sessions, talks on African American culture and the origins of Lindy Hop, yoga sessions, and the afternoon Rétro Jazz Café.

Every evening featured live swing music and DJ sets until late at night, while the Rétro Market offered 25 stalls of vintage clothing, accessories, and crafts, with 1930s-style hair and makeup services. Five food trucks, ranging from vegan options to burgers, completed the offering. The final tally exceeded 5,000 visitors over four days, with an estimated economic impact of around 150,000 euros for local businesses: a success that confirmed Terracina as a cultural tourism destination in Lazio.
