Rerum Rubis 2025: the 12th edition
The twelfth edition of Rerum Rubis – Carafa and the Legend was held in Ruvo di Puglia on May 30-31 and June 4, 2025. The opening took place on Friday, May 30, at 8:00 PM at the former convent of the Osservanti with the show "The Sound of Silence" by ASD The Company.
Saturday, May 31, marked the highlight: the grand historical pageant, departing at 8:00 PM from Largo San Giovanni, brought 18th-century Ruvo to life with nobles, commoners, friars, ladies, and artisans, featuring over 250 costumed participants including actors, students, musicians, and flag-wavers. On Wednesday, June 4, at the Church of San Michele Arcangelo, a historical-musical conference was curated by art historian Francesco Di Palo, with musical interludes directed by maestro Rocco Di Rella. All activities were free and held at the city's main heritage sites.
