RENDEZ-VOUS – New French Cinema Festival

The fifteenth edition of RENDEZ-VOUS brought the best of new French cinema to Rome from April 2nd to 6th, 2025, with free screenings at Cinema Nuovo Sacher from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The opening night featured Valeria Bruni Tedeschi with L'Attachement, presented alongside director Carine Tardieu. Guests of the edition included Ludivine Sagnier, who accompanied the thriller Sotto le foglie (Under the Leaves) by François Ozon on April 3rd, and Leïla Bekhti, present on April 6th with Ma mère, Dieu et Sylvie Vartan. The program also included Trois Amies by Emmanuel Mouret, awarded at the 2024 Venice Film Festival. Promoted by the Institut français Italia in co-organization with Unifrance, the festival then continued in Bologna, Florence, Naples, and Palermo.
