Edition 2025 — Renaissance in Economics

The second edition of Renaissance in Economics took place in Rome in the spring of 2025, consolidating the conference as an international benchmark for civil economy. The focus was on the Manifesto for a new economy, signed by over 350 Italian academics, and the dialogue between universities, institutions, and the cooperative sector on moving beyond GDP as the sole measure of progress.

Renaissance in Economics 2025

The second edition of Renaissance in Economics brought researchers and scholars from numerous Italian and international universities to Rome in the spring of 2025. Promoted by NeXt Economia, Federcasse-BCC, and Confcooperative, together with the University of Rome Tor Vergata and Roma Tre University, the conference strengthened the path of the Manifesto for a new civil economy.

The debate, hosted in the Capital and linked to the National Festival of Civil Economy, focused on the idea of an economy capable of measuring human well-being beyond mere quantitative indicators, paving the way for the third edition in 2026.
