REMM – Youth Opera Festival (Murgian Musical Residencies)

REMM 2025 — the fourth edition

The fourth edition of the REMM – Youth Opera Festival took place in Gravina in Puglia from July 15 to September 7, 2025, with sixteen events distributed across the most beautiful locations in the Murgian city. The festival, promoted by the Orchestra di Puglia e Basilicata and artistically directed by Katia Ricciarelli, spanned different genres and atmospheres, «from the heart of opera to the magic of tango, from symphonies to recitals under the stars».

Among the operatic titles, Rigoletto and The Marriage of Figaro stood out, alongside the production of Doña Flor, with the participation of conductor Francesco Zingariello. The performances transformed Piazza Plebiscito, the Ponte Acquedotto, the Swabian Castle, the cloisters of San Sebastiano, San Francesco, and Santa Sofia, the Terrazza Fondo Vico, and the countryside masserie into stages, confirming the festival's itinerant nature throughout the Province of Bari.
