The 96th edition

From September 24 to 28, 2025, the Basilica of Santa Maria Regina Pacis in Ostia Lido (Rome) hosted the 96th edition of the patronal feast. The Triduum of preparation, with reflections by Father Francesco Armenti, opened the days; on Thursday the 26th, the free show «Francesco ed i lupi», with poet Davide Rondoni and naturalist Mia Canestrini, inaugurated the cultural section, while food stalls and musical evenings enlivened the area next to the church.

On Saturday the 27th, the procession crossed the center of Ostia to the pier, with a floral tribute to those lost at sea, concluding with fireworks and, at 8:30 PM, the concert of the Band of the Local Police of Rome Capital. On Sunday the 28th, the solemn mass and, in the evening, the reading «Paolo di Tarso: le lettere» with actor Ettore Bassi and the «Nostra Signora di Bonaria» choir, organized with the Pro Loco Ostia Mare di Roma.
