Red Mullet and Fried Fish Festival

The 2025 edition of the Red Mullet and Fried Fish Festival was held in Villa San Nicola, a district of Ortona (CH), from August 8 to 10. Organized by the Pro Loco Villa San Nicola APS, the festival offered the best of Adriatic seafood for three consecutive evenings: fried and golden red mullet, mixed fried fish, arrosticini, and typical Ortona desserts. The food stalls opened every evening from 8:00 PM. The evenings were enlivened by live music, with ballroom orchestras including the D'Animos Band, in a festive and convivial atmosphere that involved both residents and visitors. A small exhibition also showcased traditional tools for preparing nevole.
