RED LINE International Film Festival

The second edition of the RED LINE International Film Festival was held from June 11th to 15th, 2025, between Montalcino and Montisi, confirming the international vocation of the event. 33 films were programmed, selected from over 600 submissions from five continents, organized into sections dedicated to feature films, documentaries, short films, and youth cinema.

Evening screenings took place under the stars in the courtyard of the Fortress of Montalcino, while other events animated the historic center and the nearby village of Montisi. The international jury was chaired by Australian actor and producer Geoffrey Rush, Oscar winner for Shine, joined by director Paolo Benvenuti, Belgian editor Virginie Messiaen, and writer Frances Stonor Saunders. An edition that consolidated the festival as a reference point for auteur cinema in the Brunello territory.
