Edition 2025 — Red Bull Cliff Diving

On June 28 and 29, 2025, Polignano a Mare hosted its stage of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, the second stop of the world season. Over 35,000 spectators filled the natural amphitheater of Lama Monachile to watch the 27 and 21-meter dives. Among the women, Australian Rhiannan Iffland triumphed, marking her ninth victory in Puglia; among the men, Spaniard Carlos Gimeno prevailed.

The 2025 edition of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in Polignano a Mare took place on June 28 and 29, as the second stage of the world season. Despite strong winds and rough seas, over 35,000 spectators crowded the cliffs, terraces, and balconies around Lama Monachile.

In the women's competition, Australian Rhiannan Iffland secured victory with 341.60 points—her ninth win in Polignano—ahead of Canadian Simone Leathead (333.00) and American Lisa Faulkner (299.85). Among the men, Spaniard Carlos Gimeno prevailed with 403.45 points, ahead of Frenchman Gary Hunt (365.30) and Mexican Jonathan Paredes (365.05). Athletes launched from 27-meter (men) and 21-meter (women) platforms, exceeding 85 km/h upon water entry.
