The 2025 season

In 2025, the Rome Public Libraries (Istituzione Biblioteche di Roma) continued its reading promotion activities with book presentations, author dialogues, and free cultural initiatives hosted in municipal libraries across various neighborhoods in the Lazio region. A constant commitment, rooted in the Reading Pact of Rome Capital, which highlighted the role of libraries as places of encounter and active citizenship.

This widespread and continuous activity served as the natural premise for the "Reading Together, Living the City" series, which from 2026 gave an organic structure to the cycle of weekly author encounters in the city's library system branches.
