Ravenna Jazz

The 52nd edition of Ravenna Jazz, from May 2nd to 12th, 2025, confirmed the event as a benchmark for Italian and European jazz. The program alternated major concerts at the Teatro Dante Alighieri with more experimental offerings in the Jazz Club section, hosted in clubs and small theaters in Ravenna and its surroundings.

Among the protagonists: Richard Galliano with the New York Tango Trio (May 9th), Mark Guiliana, the legendary drummer Famoudou Don Moye, Karima, Joe Barbieri, Léon Phal, Tatiana Eva-Marie, and Hugh Coltman. On May 11th, the Italian Jazz Orchestra presented a jazz-symphonic reinterpretation of Beach Boys' music, while the educational project "Pazzi di Jazz" closed the festival on May 12th with a tribute to the South African singer Miriam Makeba.
