Edition 2025 — Ravenna Festival
Ravenna Festival 2025
The XXXVI edition of the Ravenna Festival took place from May 31 to July 13, 2025, with the title “Donde hay música no puede haber cosa mala” (Where there is music, there can be no evil), inspired by the words of Sancho Panza in Cervantes' Don Quixote, a reflection on civil and spiritual courage.
The opening concert featured Riccardo Muti conducting the Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra with violinist Giuseppe Gibboni. Among the distinguished guest conductors were Zubin Mehta with the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Daniel Harding with the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. The program, with over a hundred performances and more than a thousand artists, spanned symphonic music, opera, dance, and theatre in Ravenna's historic venues in Emilia-Romagna.
