Edition 2025 — Rassegna della Zampogna
The 2025 edition of the Rassegna della Zampogna e della Ciaramella del Sud Italia renewed one of the most beloved Christmas traditions of the Val d'Agri in Viggiano. On December 27th, in the afternoon, musicians in traditional pastoral costume walked through the historic centre of the village, performing devotional and pastoral songs with the zampogna and ciaramella. Promoted by the Folk Group "La Chicchirichi" with the patronage of the Municipality of Viggiano, the review enveloped the village streets in an authentic and evocative Christmas atmosphere.
