Edition 2025 — Randazzo Medieval Festival

The 28th edition of the Randazzo Medieval Festival took place from July 25 to 27, 2025, in the historic center of the Etna village, in the province of Catania. Three days of re-enactment of the stay of Blanche of Navarre, vicar of Sicily from 1409 to 1415, featuring a historical pageant, crusader markets, medieval games, falconry, taverns, flag-wavers, equestrian and fire shows organized by the Sicularagonensia Association.

Randazzo Medieval Festival 2025

The 28th edition was held from July 25 to 27, 2025, in the historic center of Randazzo (CT). The program alternated for three days between medieval markets, period games, falconry shows, and themed taverns. On Friday, July 25, the historical pageant of Queen Blanche of Navarre opened the event, followed by medieval music and performances. On Saturday, July 26, live entertainment, combat displays, and drums were staged throughout the village, with an evening concert. On Sunday, July 27, there was a parade of Sicilian medieval groups, equestrian shows, and the final fire show.

The pageant, composed of over one hundred participants in faithful reproductions of 15th-century costumes, brought the lava stone streets of the village to life thanks to the efforts of the Sicularagonensia Association.
