The 2025 Randazzo Carnival
In 2025, the Randazzo Carnival once again animated the historic center of Randazzo, in the province of Catania, with its traditional sequence of events from Fat Thursday to Shrove Tuesday.
The festival opened with the special school parade, which concluded in Piazza Municipio with entertainment, games, and activities for children. One day was dedicated to activities for the little ones in Piazza Municipio, featuring a treasure hunt, creative workshops, cotton candy, popcorn, and face painting.
The highlight was the grand parade of allegorical floats and masked groups along Via Umberto, Piazza San Martino, and Piazza Municipio, filled with music, dancing, and the enthusiasm of hundreds of participants until late at night.
