Edition 2025 — Raise Your Voice, Raise Your Head
The first edition, September 2025
The festival opened Friday, September 26 at 5 PM at Parco Modesto Di Veglia with the round table Raise Your Voice / Raise Your Head, which brought together the GKN factory collective, entertainment workers, and the Stop Re Arm Europe network. In the evening, a talk with Michele Riondino on the media representation of the suburbs, followed by readings and performances, and at 9 PM, a live connection with the crew of the Global Sumud Flotilla heading to Gaza.
Saturday, September 27 began with the local market: at noon, Valerio Mastandrea read Mattia Torre's monologue Gola among the stalls, while at 2 PM Guido Farinelli spoke about Roman cuisine and popular culture based on his book Tanto pe' magnà. At 5 PM, the community parade set off through the abandoned spaces of the district; at 8 PM, the closing event with Elodie and Zerocalcare, in dialogue about the neighborhoods and the stigma of the suburbs, starting from Mario Martone's film Fuori.
All initiatives were free of charge, with stalls, independent bookstores, and community dinners in the park.
