6th Raid dei Fantasmi — Fumone, between mystery and history

In 2025, the destination chosen by Scuderia Campidoglio was Fumone, in the province of Frosinone: a medieval village dominated by the imposing castle that has watched over the Ciociaria hills from an altitude of about 800 meters. The fortress is linked to the memory of Pope Celestine V, who was imprisoned there after his abdication, and to the legends that have been told about its rooms for centuries.

The day followed the usual rally format: accreditation and welcome breakfast, transfer of the vintage cars along the hilly roads to the village, a guided tour of the castle with its ancient prisons and hanging garden, and finally a convivial lunch in a medieval tavern. An edition that confirmed the vocation of the Raid dei Fantasmi: combining a passion for historic cars with the discovery of the lesser-known side of Lazio.
