Raggiolo Festival 2025

In the summer of 2025, the Raggiolo Festival began on Saturday, July 26 as part of RaggioloEstate, the season curated by the Brigata di Raggiolo with the Municipality of Ortignano Raggiolo (province of Arezzo): about thirty initiatives including theatre, art, culture, and music until Saturday, September 27.

Theatre and performances

Among the events were the inaugural show "Delitto a Villa Albani" by Teatro di Cestello, the "Opera buffa" by Compagnia Maria Cassi, the cabaret "Orlando Curioso" in the Sant'Angelo clearing, and the second edition of "Homo Faber" (August 17), which involved the entire village community.

Cinema, families, and culture

From August 7 to 28, the "Cinema al chiaro di luna" series screened films in Piazza San Michele, while for children, "La storia di Pinocchio" by NATA Teatro was performed at the Mercatella River Park, alongside "Storie sotto il noce". The season concluded on September 27 with the 21st edition of "I colloqui di Raggiolo", a study day on the history of the Casentino.
