Racconti d'Estate - Open-Air Cinema

6th edition - 2025

The sixth edition of Racconti d'Estate - Open-Air Cinema was held in Lipari from June 16 to July 9, 2025, once again transforming the Cortile dell'Addolorata, inside the Castle, into an open-air cinema. Eight evenings dedicated to great cinema, with free screenings at 9:00 PM and meetings with authors and actors.

The program opened on June 16 with Monster (L'innocenza) by Hirokazu Kore-eda, followed on June 18 by the classic Io la conoscevo bene by Antonio Pietrangeli (1965), with the participation of Sergio Barone. The lineup also included L'albero (2024) on June 30 with actress Tecla Insolia, Ciao bambino (2024) on July 7, and Invelle (2023) on July 9. The festival, organized by the Magazzino di Mutuo Soccorso - Eolie in the Municipality of Lipari (Province of Messina), alternated screenings, debates, and in-depth discussions on Italian and international cinema.
