Raccontamiunastoria 2025: Muses and Pilgrims
The eleventh edition of the International Storytelling Festival was held in Rome, in the Lazio region, from June 13 to 23, 2025. The chosen theme, "Muses and Pilgrims," engaged with the spirit of the 2025 Jubilee, presenting stories as paths of encounter between places, memories, and people.
The festival, directed by Paola Balbi and Davide Bardi, brought together over one hundred storytellers from five continents, with performances in Italian and English spread between the Ex Cartiera Latina, the Park of the Aqueducts, the Caffarella Valley, the Basilica of San Sebastiano, and the Castel Fusano pine forest. Highlights included narrated walks through olive groves and ruins, site-specific performances, workshops with international masters, and a final event dedicated to families in Castel Fusano.
