R Puogliar d'Maj

The 2025 edition of R Puogliar d'Maj confirmed the vitality of one of Colle d'Anchise's (CB) most iconic rites. On May 3rd, the community gathered for the blessing of the Puogliar — the conical structure of flowers and branches, a symbol of a good harvest — which was then carried in procession through the village streets amidst dances and songs. Organized by the village's youth along with the Municipality and the parish, the rite united spirituality, peasant culture, and collective celebration in the heart of inland Molise.
