Quo Vadis? Cinema in the Heart of Rome

From July 8 to 18, 2025, the Temple of Venus and Roma hosted the fourth edition of Quo Vadis? Cinema in the Heart of Rome, dedicated to the theme Fables and Dreams. Ten evenings with free admission featuring ten Italian films that explored the boundary between reality and imagination, including 8½ by Federico Fellini, La ricotta and The Hawks and the Sparrows by Pier Paolo Pasolini, and The Miracle by Roberto Rossellini, starring Fellini himself. Each screening, moderated by journalist Caterina Taricano, was introduced by directors, actors, writers, and critics. The festival, promoted by the CSC - National Film Archive and the Colosseum Archaeological Park, once again confirmed the charm of cinema projected among the imperial ruins of Rome.
