Pupo Fritto and Ricotta Forte Festival

The sixteenth edition of the Pupo Fritto and Ricotta Forte Festival took place on August 6, 2025, in the Montursi pine forest, in Gioia del Colle (Bari). The event, organized by the Comitato Pro Montursi, recorded a large number of participants, attracting visitors from outside the city as well.

As per tradition, the stars of the table were the pupo fritto and the ricotta forte, together with the renowned mozzarella from Gioia del Colle, the quintessential local product. The evening was accompanied by music, animation, and entertainment for children, confirming the convivial and family-friendly formula that characterizes the festival. The large parking lot and the picnic area of the pine forest facilitated the flow of the public during the evening.
