Edition 2025 — Puglia Teatro Festival
The fourth edition of the Puglia Teatro Festival took place on Friday, August 1, 2025, in Largo Martellotta, in the heart of the Rione Monti of Alberobello, which was transformed for the occasion into an open-air theatre among the trulli.
The highlight of the evening was the performance "La notte delle Giovani Stelle", which marked a turning point for the festival: after three editions dedicated to acting and directing, the event conceived and directed by Michele Ido opened its doors to dance, launching a collaboration with the Rome Opera House School of Dance, directed by the étoile Eleonora Abbagnato, who was present in Alberobello to accompany and support her young students.
Admission to the evening was free. The Mayor of Alberobello, Francesco De Carlo, emphasized how the collaboration with major Italian cultural institutions represents "a fundamental moment for our City" in the journey supporting Alberobello's bid for Italian Capital of Culture 2027.
