Prugnolo Mushroom Festival

The 2025 edition of the Prugnolo Mushroom Festival was held in Cusercoli, a hamlet of Civitella di Romagna, on May 11 and 18, 2025. Piazza Don Luigi Brighi featured the Arts and Crafts Market, a market for garden and ornamental plants, agri-food stalls with prugnolo-based specialties, and food stalls with typical dishes, accompanied by folk music in the village streets. In the Castle's Sala Botte, a painting exhibition was set up on both days, with guided tours of the Hanging Gardens, the Church of San Bonifacio, and the bas-reliefs in the Sundial Hall. On Sunday, May 18, at 11:00 AM, the Golden Prugnolo of Romagna award ceremony took place, given to the most impressive mushroom exhibited by pickers and wholesalers.
