Prospero Fest 2025: six evenings of books and ideas
The seventh edition of Prospero Fest took place from June 13 to 18, 2025, at the Old Port of Monopoli, with six evenings, twelve guests, and two sessions each night at 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. The festival, promoted by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Monopoli, addressed themes ranging from geopolitics to current events, journalistic reporting to youth issues, and memory to the challenges of the future.
Opening on Friday, June 13, were Matteo Bassetti with "Essere medico" and Nicola Lagioia. Subsequent evenings featured Enrico Galiano, Franco Arminio, Giuseppe Cruciani, Sigfrido Ranucci, Stefania Craxi, Gino Cecchettin, Giuliana Sgrena, Gad Lerner, Roberta Rei, and Dario Vergassola. All meetings were free to attend subject to availability.
