Edition 2025 — Prose at Maria Caniglia
The 2024/2025 Prose Season at the Teatro Maria Caniglia in Sulmona marked the fifth consecutive year under the management of Meta APS, in partnership with the Municipality of Sulmona and with the support of the Abruzzo Region, the Carispaq Foundation, and MC Costruzioni. The artistic direction was led by maestro Patrizio Maria D'Artista.
The programme, consisting of eight shows, opened on Saturday, November 16, 2024, with L'anatra all'arancia, a famous comedy starring Emilio Solfrizzi and Carlotta Natoli, directed by Claudio "Greg" Gregori and produced by Compagnia Molière and Fondazione Atlantide Teatro Stabile di Verona.
The 2024/2025 edition was also accompanied by the free "Next Stop: Theatre" shuttle service, promoted by Meta APS in collaboration with the municipalities of Gagliano Aterno, Villalago, Scanno, Anversa degli Abruzzi, Bugnara, and Pacentro, to bring the Peligna Valley audience closer to the theatre. Subscriptions were offered starting from 80 euros and individual tickets from 13 euros.
