Progetto Cinema

The 2025 season of Progetto Cinema was one of the most attended in recent years. The inaugural film, screened on January 22, 2025, was a complete sell-out, with the 400-seat theater packed and dozens of spectators unable to find a seat.

Among the titles on the program, "Gladiator II" by Ridley Scott was screened on January 30, in an evening that paid tribute to Father Celestino Tedesco, the priest who founded the first cineforum in Collepasso in 1969. On March 6, it was the turn of "Diamanti" by Ferzan Ozpetek, the seventh film of the festival. The selection, curated by Giovanni Rollo, confirmed the double-feature format and the arthouse vocation that has made the Ariston a cultural landmark for the entire Salento region.
