Profumo di Zagara "A Scocca" 2025
The fifth edition of the lemon festival was held in Carruba (Municipality of Riposto, province of Catania) from June 18 to 22, 2025. Five days of festivities celebrated the Etna PGI Lemon and the typical products of the Ionian coast of Mount Etna, with free tastings, cooking shows, meetings with producers and agronomists, entertainment, folk music, and folklore.
In 2025, the heart of the event was once again the "A Scocca" competition, which awarded the largest and most beautiful cluster of lemons. The event, organized by Pro Loco Carruba APS, confirmed its role as a community festival dedicated to promoting local citrus farming.
