Edition 2025 — Proder Adventsstandl

In 2025, the Volunteer Fire Brigade of Prato allo Stelvio once again set up the "Proder Adventsstandl" in the village square during the Advent season. As per tradition, the stand offered hot soups served at the table or for takeaway — the usual "Suppen Sonntag" or Soup Sunday — and freshly prepared homemade krapfen, in a simple and convivial Christmas atmosphere in the heart of the Upper Vinschgau Valley.

The 2025 Proder Adventsstandl

During the 2025 Advent season, the village square of Prato allo Stelvio (Prad am Stilfserjoch) hosted the now-traditional "Proder Adventsstandl", the Christmas stand of the Volunteer Fire Brigade. Amidst lights and decorations, the firefighters served hot soups — including takeaway options, while stocks lasted — and homemade krapfen, involving the community in a day of conviviality and volunteering. An event that, year after year, opens the Advent season in this bilingual South Tyrolean village at the foot of the Stelvio.
