The 38th edition
The 2025 edition of the award concluded on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in Procida, in the Giardini di Elsa, with the usual public vote count expressed by the Readers' Jury.
The trio of finalists for the Fiction section, identified by the technical jury chaired by Silvia Zoppi Garampi with Antonio Corsaro, Alberto Fraccacreta, Massimo Onofri, and Ilaria Tufano, consisted of Fabio Stassi with Bebelplatz (Sellerio), Wanda Marasco with Di spalle a questo mondo (Neri Pozza), and Sandra Petrignani with Autobiografia dei miei cani (Gramma-Feltrinelli).
- Fiction Winner: Fabio Stassi, Bebelplatz - 35 votes
- Second place: Wanda Marasco, Di spalle a questo mondo - 27 votes
- Third place: Sandra Petrignani, Autobiografia dei miei cani - 18 votes
- Homage to Elsa Prize: Gea Finelli, Nel mare di Elsa (Nutrimenti)
To allow the popular jury to truly read the competing texts, the Municipality of Procida purchased 75 copies of each finalist book, confirming the participatory formula that has characterized the award since the 2016 edition.
