Edition 2025 — Processo dea Vecia

In 2025, the Processo dea Vecia de Meza Quaresima once again renewed the ancient Venetian rite in Martellago, with the evening allegorical procession, the symbolic trial of the 'vecia', the bonfire, and the collective toast between Piazza Bertati and the Inclusive Park.

The 2025 edition re-enacted the mid-Lent rite in Martellago: an evening allegorical procession accompanied the vecia puppet from Piazza Bertati to the Inclusive Park, where the symbolic trial took place, followed by the bonfire and the collective toast. An authentic popular tradition, kept alive by the Municipality of Martellago, which each year brings the community together around a rite of good omen deeply rooted in the folklore of the Venetian mainland.
