Edition 2025 — Procession of the Mysteries
The 2025 edition of the Procession of the Mysteries was held on Good Friday, April 18, confirming a rite that has been repeated uninterruptedly in Altamura since 1615. At 7:30 PM, from the small field of the Church of San Sepolcro, the procession with the statues of the Mysteries of the Passion set off, winding through the main streets and squares of the historic center up to Piazza Duomo and back.
As every year, numerous confraternities and parish associations accompanied the wooden sculptures in traditional attire, amidst sacred chants and the moved silence of the faithful. The procession involved the entire Altamura community, renewing one of the most deeply felt events of Holy Week in Puglia.
