Edition 2025 — Procession of the Mysteries

In 2025, the Procession of the Mysteries of Minervino Murge was held on Friday, April 18, Good Friday. As is tradition, the eight statues of the Passion and the relic of the Holy Wood traveled through the historic center starting in the evening, with the participation of the brotherhoods and an entire community gathered in prayer along the town streets.

Good Friday 2025

The 2025 Procession of the Mysteries renewed a centuries-old ritual of the Murgia Holy Week in Minervino Murge (BT). At dusk on Good Friday, the eight statues depicting the scenes of the Passion and Death of Jesus—from the penitential cross to the Calvary group, up to the Pietà—were carried on the shoulders of the brothers along the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the relic of the Holy Wood, the band, and traditional chants. The procession represented the climax of a week of celebrations that, as every year, involved all the city parishes, from Palm Sunday to Holy Saturday, confirming the deep devotion of the upper Murgia community.
