Edition 2025 — Hooded Penitents Isernia
The Procession of the Hooded Penitents 2025 took place in Isernia on Good Friday, reprising the age-old rite that has characterized Holy Week in the Molise capital since 1626.
As per tradition, the procession of the Dead Christ departed from the church of Santa Chiara with barefoot penitents, hooded and wearing crowns of thorns, and the city's confraternities, recognizable by their respective colorful uniforms, crossing the main streets of the historic center before a large gathering of faithful.

The 2025 edition followed the traditional structure: departure from the church of Santa Chiara, barefoot hooded penitents with crowns of thorns, city confraternities, and the procession of the Dead Christ through the historic center to the Cathedral.
