Edition 2025 — Procession of the Dead Christ

In 2025, Good Friday fell on April 18th: in Borgo Cerreto, the traditional Procession of the Dead Christ, a rite of Holy Week in Valnerina, was renewed. The procession crossed the village streets in an atmosphere of recollection, with the participation of citizens and faithful, confirming a religious tradition deeply rooted in the territory of Cerreto di Spoleto.

In 2025, Good Friday fell on April 18th. In Borgo Cerreto, a hamlet of Cerreto di Spoleto, the traditional Procession of the Dead Christ, part of the Holy Week celebrations in Valnerina, was renewed that year as well.

The rite crossed the village streets in the evening, in a climate of recollection and participation, with the symbols of the Passion and traditional chants, confirming a popular devotion deeply rooted in the community's identity.
