Edition 2025 — Saint Eldrado

In 2025, Novalesa once again renewed the ancient tradition of the procession in honor of its patron saint, Saint Eldrado. On the Sunday closest to March 13th, the silver urn containing the relics of the saintly abbot was carried on shoulders from the parish church of Santo Stefano to the Abbey of Saints Peter and Andrew, accompanied by confraternities, Alpine troops, the brass band, and faithful who arrived from both sides of the Alps.

2025 Edition

The 2025 Procession of Saint Eldrado confirmed the vitality of a centuries-old devotion. The procession departed from the parish church to reach the monastic complex, where participants were able to descend to the Chapel of Saint Eldrado and venerate the saint's relic, kept among the famous 11th-century Romanesque frescoes.

As per tradition, the event brought together confraternities with their priors, the Alpine troops, the Novalesa Brass Band, and the parish choir, in a day of faith and community identity in the heart of the Susa Valley.
