Procession of Saint Anthony of Padua

In 2025, the feast of Saint Anthony of Padua in Lesina took place, as per tradition, on June 13th, the day dedicated to the miracle-working Saint. The community of the lagoon village participated in the procession with the statue of Saint Anthony along the streets of the town, accompanied by songs and music of popular tradition. The recurrence confirms itself as one of the most heartfelt devotional moments of the Lesina calendar, alongside the patronal celebrations of Saint Primiano, a testament to the deep-rooted religiosity of the coastal Daunia in the Gargano National Park.
