Procession of Our Lady of Sorrows

The 2025 edition of the festivities in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows, organized by the Confraternity of the Nativity and Sorrows, took place from September 8 to 16 at the Basilica of San Martino in Martina Franca, under the theme "The Blessed Virgin Mary, Pilgrim of Hope."

Each day was marked by rosaries, holy masses, and catechesis. The climax was reached on Sunday, September 14, the day of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, with vespers at 7:15 PM and the solemn procession along the traditional route. The "Antonietta Amico - City of Ceglie Messapica" band association, conducted by Maestro Michele Vitale, provided the music for the procession and the city streets.
