Procession of Maria Santissima del Bosco (Easter Tuesday)

The 2025 edition

On Easter Tuesday 2025, Spinazzola renewed its devotion to Maria Santissima del Bosco, the city's patron saint in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani. The community gathered around the sacred icon to accompany it, as every year, from the countryside Sanctuary to the Mother Church of San Pietro Apostolo.

The program, curated by the Spinazzola Patronal Festival Committee, followed the usual structure: opening at dawn with fireworks and the parade of the Gran Complesso Bandistico Città di Spinazzola, the solemn Holy Mass at the Sanctuary, the ceremony of the awarding of the historic Mantle of the Virgin, and the procession towards the town center. In the evening, after the Mass in the Mother Church, the parish choir's Marian hymns and the fireworks display evoking the ancient Cavalcata concluded one of the most heartfelt days of the city calendar.
