The 2025 edition
The Procession of Maria Santissima Assunta returned to Molfetta on Sunday, August 24, 2025, after the 2022 edition, respecting the usual triennial cycle. The day opened at 5:45 PM with the Eucharistic celebration in the Church of San Gennaro, presided over by Monsignor Vincenzo Turturro, Apostolic Nuncio to Paraguay. At 7:00 PM, the wooden statue carved by Francesco Verzella in 1809 went out in procession, traveling through Via Sergio Pansini, the Annunziata, Piazza Paradiso, Corso Dante, and the streets of the old town, between Piazza Municipio and Via Amente, before returning to the church around 10:00 PM. Accompanying the procession were the Bassa Musica Città di Molfetta and the Santa Cecilia – Città di Molfetta band complex, together with the Women's Pious Union, the Confraternity of the Madonna del Buon Consiglio, and the twin confreres from Modugno.

- 7:00 PM — Departure of the wooden statue of the Assunta and solemn procession through the streets of the historic center (Via Sergio Pansini, Annunziata, Piazza Paradiso, Corso Dante, Piazza Municipio, Via Amente)
- Around 10:00 PM — Return of the statue to the Church of San Gennaro
Musical accompaniment by the Bassa Musica Città di Molfetta (opening) and the Santa Cecilia – Città di Molfetta band complex (closing).
