Edition 2025 — Primi dei Primi

The first edition of Primi dei Primi was held in Sansepolcro from May 2nd to 4th, 2025, inaugurating the festival dedicated to first courses and pasta culture. Three days of tastings, masterclasses, and meetings with great chefs in the village that saw the birth of the Buitoni factory in 1827, the first industrial pasta production in the world.

The first edition of Primi dei Primi took place in Sansepolcro from May 2nd to 4th, 2025, promoted by the Municipality in collaboration with Confcommercio, Terretrusche, and with the support of the Tuscany Region and the Chamber of Commerce of Arezzo-Siena.

The festival highlighted the city's historical identity as the cradle of industrial pasta, with events spread throughout the historic center: tastings, workshops, art installations, and masterclasses. Among the protagonists were Michelin-starred chefs Claudio Sadler and Terry Giacomello, joined by over thirty cooks who offered tastings of first courses in Piazza Torre di Berta, set up as a wheat field in the heart of the village.
