Edition 2025 — Prickly Pear Festival
The 2025 edition
The 2025 Prickly Pear, Mostarda and Sausage Festival featured four events spread over two weekends: September 27-28 and October 4-5. The festival brought both the village of Piano Tavola, in Piazza Titta Abbadessa, and the center of Camporotondo Etneo, along Via Umberto and in Piazza Sant'Antonio Abate, to life.
The undisputed protagonists were the PDO Etna Prickly Pear, the mostarda, and the grilled sausage, accompanied by food and wine trails, street food stalls, and local products. The evenings offered musical performances and dancing, confirming the festival as one of the most popular autumn events in the Etna area, in the province of Catania.
