Pretoro in Fairytale – Christmas Markets

The 2025 edition

The December 7-8, 2025 edition of Pretoro in Fairytale enlivened the Majella village during the long Immaculate Conception weekend. The day began at 11:00 AM with the opening of museums and markets in Piazza Dietro Corte, while the trekking tour in the wolf area started at 10:30 AM, and guided tours of the historic center took place at 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM.

From 4:30 PM, the roving show "The Night of Santa Claus" by the I Guardiani dell'Oca company took the stage, featuring actors, musicians, and dancers: performances every 30 minutes, lasting about an hour, with mandatory booking on visitpretoro.cloud. Over 40 exhibitors, including hobbyists and artisans, offered gift ideas and crafts, while Santa's Grotto with the elf workshop, the Alley of Love, and Abruzzese food stands completed the living nativity atmosphere. A shuttle bus connected the parking lot to the center. The event was organized by the Pro Loco Pretoro APS and the Associazione Pretoro Evergreen APS with the patronage of the Municipality of Pretoro.

Sunday, December 7 and Monday, December 8, 2025

• 10:30 AM — Trekking tour in the wolf area
• 11:00 AM — Opening of museums and markets in Piazza Dietro Corte; first guided tour of the village
• 2:30 PM — Second guided tour of the historic center
• From 4:30 PM — Roving show "The Night of Santa Claus" (I Guardiani dell'Oca), performances every 30 minutes, duration approx. 60 minutes
• All day — Santa's Grotto with elf workshop, Alley of Love, Abruzzese food stands, evening musical entertainment
