President of the Republic Cup – Vela al Terzo Regatta

The 2025 edition of the President of the Republic Cup confirmed the tradition of the vela al terzo regatta in the St. Mark's Basin, in Venice (VE). The traditional lagoon boats, with their colourful sails, competed in front of the Doge's Palace in one of the most spectacular displays of Venetian maritime culture. Organised by the Vela al Terzo Venezia Association, the regatta celebrated the art of lagoon rowing and navigation, an identity heritage of the city, in Veneto.

The 2025 edition followed the usual format: vela al terzo regatta with traditional Venetian boats in St. Mark's Basin, awards ceremony, and presentation of the President of the Republic Cup.
