Presepi in Festa / Natività d'Amuri

The 2025 edition of "Natività d'Amuri", the living nativity of Burgio, took place on December 27th and 28th, 2025, and January 6th, 2026, with multiple performances throughout the afternoon starting from approximately 5:30 PM.

The performance was set in Piazza San Luca and the Church of San Luca, transformed into an open-air story dedicated to the Nativity. The scenic route unfolded through evocative tableaux that recounted the daily life and characters of the nativity, amidst lights, music, silence, and ancient gestures capable of emotionally engaging the audience.

The scripts were signed by Maria Concetta Aquilina and Salvatore Monte, with direction and staging by Salvatore Monte. The initiative, with free admission, was organized by the Sipario 4 Cultural Association together with the Municipality of Burgio and the Pro Loco Sikania, as part of the "Presepi in Festa" Christmas event.
