Edition 2025 — Presepe Vivente
In December 2025, Pescopennataro also presented its Living Nativity: the Nativity relived in the stone alleys of the historic centre, animated by local villagers, with the traditional 'tombolata', in an authentic Christmas atmosphere in the heart of Alto Molise.
The 2025 edition of the Living Nativity took place in Pescopennataro during the Christmas period. The streets of the historic centre of the stone village provided the backdrop for the Nativity scene, animated by local villagers, while the traditional 'tombolata' accompanied the festive moments. An event that each year renews the Christmas spirit of the Pescopennataro community, in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.
