Edition 2025 — Presepe Vivente dell'Anno Zero

The 2025-2026 edition of the Living Nativity of Year Zero took place in Spello between St. Stephen's Day and Epiphany, at the Torri di Properzio and Porta Venere. With free admission from 5 PM to 8 PM, visitors followed two routes, with or without animation, immersed in the dual narrative of the Nativity and ancient Hispellvm in the time of Augustus. On January 6th, the procession of the Magi arrived with the camel from Piazza Kennedy.

Living Nativity of Year Zero 2025-2026

The 2025-2026 edition opened on St. Stephen's Day (December 26) and concluded on Epiphany (January 6). At the Torri di Properzio and Porta Venere, with free admission from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, visitors could choose between two routes—with or without animation—to experience the events from the time of Jesus and Roman Spello.

Costumed figures brought to life weavers, carpenters, blacksmiths, bakers, apothecaries, healers, and merchants of ancient Hispellvm. On January 6th, the procession of the Magi started from Piazza Kennedy, winding through the streets of the historic center with a majestic camel before entering the Nativity scene.

  • Reenactments of the living nativity scene at the Torri di Properzio and Porta Venere, free admission 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

January 6 - Epiphany

  • Procession of the Magi from Piazza Kennedy through the historic center, with a camel, to the Nativity scene
