Presepe Vivente Arbëreshë

The Arbëreshë Living Nativity for Christmas 2025 confirmed in Portocannone a deep-rooted tradition: through the alleys of the Borgo di Costantinopoli, figures in Albanian costume reenacted the Nativity and ancient crafts, while the arrival of the Three Wise Men on horseback crowned Epiphany Day. The event, organised by the Municipality with the Parish of Saints Peter and Paul and the Pro Loco Skanderbeg, was intertwined with the flavours of the GustiAm Portocannone food and wine event, in a blend of faith, Arbëreshë identity, and taste.

Performances of the living nativity scene on the days of the Christmas period (between December 26th and January 6th), from approximately 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with figures in Arbëreshë costume in the Borgo di Costantinopoli and the arrival of the Three Wise Men on horseback on January 6th. Event combined with GustiAm Portocannone.
