Edition 2025 — Presepe al Borgo

The 27th edition of the Presepe al Borgo in Civitella Alfedena took place from December 6, 2025, to January 6, 2026. The alleys of the historic center hosted the life-sized papier-mâché nativity scene, featuring scenes of ancient crafts—the tavern, the market, the cobbler—and the Nativity set in the "Giudea" corner. The event was accompanied by the traditional New Year's Eve torchlight procession on December 30th in Piazza Santa Lucia.

The 27th edition of the Presepe al Borgo in Civitella Alfedena was held from December 6, 2025, to January 6, 2026, open daily during the afternoon and evening hours. As per tradition, the stone alleys of the historic center were transformed into a large, life-sized papier-mâché nativity scene, with scenes of daily life and ancient crafts leading up to the Nativity set in the evocative "Giudea."

The display, curated by the local youth gathered in the Associazione Culturale Fiaccolata Onlus, was accompanied by the New Year's Eve torchlight procession on December 30, 2025, in Piazza Santa Lucia, in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.
